Students work closely with experienced professionals, developing strong scientific and practical skills within a supportive and international research environment.
This program is ideal for students or recent graduated in marine biology, ecology, environmental science, or other suitable fields, who aim to apply their academic knowledge in real working environment. Interns should be enthusiastic, curious and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, often in field conditions and also in our land bases.
Training Courses
Join our training opportunities for conservation interested, students and early career scientists, who wish to build strong foundations in cetacean research and marine conservation. These programs are designed to combine scientific knowledge with practical experience, promoting the development of skilled and responsible researchers.
The program provides training in key areas such as cetacean biology and ecology, research methodologies, field survey techniques, behavioural observation, lookout techniques, photo-identification, data management and analysis. In addition, participants are introduced to essential elements of navigation, sailing, onboard safety, and ethical field practices, strengthening the skills required to conduct effective and responsible fieldwork in the sea environment.
Training is delivered through a combination of lectures, workshops, supervised fieldwork, and project involvement. Participants work closely with researchers and professionals in our ongoing research and conservation initiatives.
Research Collaborations
Universities and professional researchers can have the opportunity to collaborate on existing projects or propose research aligned with our organizational mission and ethics, contributing to publications, and engaging in interdisciplinary.
